We source our turmeric seed from a certified organic grower in Hawaii. We begin sprouting the rhizomes in March and a couple of months later we transplant them under tunnels.
Our turmeric is harvested immature, before it develops a thick rind. This "baby" turmeric will keep refrigerated in an air-tight container for up to two weeks. It can also be frozen for up to a year.
